By working with and fairly compensating local nonprofit organizations and change leaders we are able to make a positive economic impact on the host communities.


Community-Based Faculty Led Programs FAQ

  • As a third party provider we can help translate not just the language, but also the cultural differences. Overcoming both barriers allows students to learn.

  • If possible, come on a site visit or, at least, have zoom calls with our local partners, to get a better understanding of what to expect.

  • Most likely yes! Students will be more out of their comfort zones in rural communities vs. developed cities. This gives them space for growth. If you set clear expectations for students, it should not be a problem.

  • No. Lodging and food costs are generally lower in more rural locations.
