Collaborative International Projects

Also known as Collaborative Online Learning (COIL) or Virtual Exchange, these projects bring together students from different countries on assignments jointly directed by both faculty. The projects can be short or last the entire semester. We match faculty across borders and ensure the project meets learning objectives for both groups of students. Google Docs and other simple technology makes conducting research, analysis, design, or other collaborative activities easy. Students can often use English to chat with their peers or use Google Translate.
