The Bahamas trip offers students a comprehensive exploration of agriculture, natural resource management, and cultural heritage through hands-on activities, expert-led tours, and immersive experiences in Nassau and Eleuthera, including visits to agro-industrial farms, heritage parks, and pristine marine environments.

Itinerary 

Day 1

Arrival to Nassau. Orientation and welcome dinner.

Day 2

Visit to Gladstone Road Agro-Industrial Park. Meeting with local students.

Day 3

Workshop on Food, Culture, and Agriculture

Day 4

Visit to Clifton Heritage Park and Beach with guided snorkeling of an underwater sculpture park and a James Bond movie scene

Day 5

Travel to Eleuthera. Coral Reef Ecology Lesson and Snorkel

Day 6

Stone Crab Work with Researchers.

Day 7

Visit of a farm, specializing in small ruminant production.

Invasive Species Lesson & Lionfish Dissection. Mangrove Ecology and Snorkel
