This 9-day program takes students on an immersive journey through significant historical locations in England and France. Activities include exploring the Churchill War Rooms, visiting the Tower of London, and discovering the Battle of Hastings site in England. In France, students will witness the Bayeux Tapestry, tour Omaha Beach and the Normandy American Cemetery, and visit Mont Saint-Michel. Through guided tours, independent exploration, and expert discussions, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of European history.

Itinerary 

Day 1

Arrival to London. Tour of the Churchill War rooms. Visit to Westminster Abbey. Orientation and welcome dinner.

Day 2

Visit to St Paul’s Cathedral. Visit to the Tower of London.

Day 3

Visit to Runnymede. Visit to Hasting Battlefield. Visit to Portsmouth D-Day Museum.

Day 4

Walking tour of Caen.

Day 5

Visit to Bayeux Tapestry museum. Visit to Omaha Beach. Visit to the Normandy American Cemetery.

Day 6

Tour of Mont Saint Michel

Day 7

Visit to Musée d'Orsay. Visit to Musée de l'Armée. Visit to the Sainte-Chapelle.
