This 10-day Norway program immerses students in the country's skiing culture and national identity. Activities include visiting significant ski-related museums and institutions in Oslo, experiencing a guided Nordic skiing adventure in remote Haukeli, and exploring Lillehammer's ski product factories and youth sports culture. Through guided tours, expert discussions, and hands-on experiences, students will learn about Norway's rich skiing heritage, innovative youth sports approach, and cultural landmarks.
Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival to Oslo and orientation. Presentation from The Association for the Promotion of Skiing. Welcome dinner.
Day 2
Visit to Holmenkollen ski jump. City tour of Oslo.
Day 3
Transfer to Haukeliseter.
Day 4
All day Nordic ski adventure. Free time.
Day 5
Visit to Morgedal Ski Museum. Discussion with climate change activists.
Day 6
Peer-to-peer exchange at the national School of Sport Sciences. Visit to National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design.
Day 7
Visit to a ski factory. Visit to a sports equipement factory.
Day 8
Visit to a Ski Club in Lillehammer. Visit to the Norwegian Olympic Museum.
Day 9
Free time to explore Oslo. Visit to The Fram Polar Museum. Farewell dinner.

Departure.
