This 10-day Ireland program immerses students in the rich cultural and historical tapestry of Dublin and Belfast. Activities include visiting renowned institutions, experiencing local culture through food tours and theater performances, and exploring significant historical sites such as Kilmainham Gaol and the Giant's Causeway. Through expert lectures, guided tours, and community engagements, students will delve into themes of social justice, historical struggles, and contemporary cultural dynamics.
Day 1
Arrival to Dublin. Orientation and welcome dinner.
Day 2
Dublin Food Trail. Guest lecture from a local university. Theater Performance from an artist-led organization.
Day 3
Trinity College Campus Tour. Guest lecture from a local university.
Day 4
Walking tour guided by people experiencing homelessness. Guest lecture from a local university
Day 5
Visit to 14 Henrietta Street. Abbey Theater Tour and Performance.
Day 6
Tour of Kilmainham Gaol. Free time to explore.
Day 7
Business visit with organizations committed to promoting social inclusion. Discussion with an organization dedicated to supporting and advocating for women.
