This 11-days program in Perú is focused on the exploration of historical and archaeological sites in Cusco and the Sacred Valley. The visits will give students the opportunity to learn about sustainable engineering practices employed historically by the Incas, and that remain relevant today. Additionally, this program includes a visit to the floating islands of Lake Titicaca, where students can observe the unique construction methods used by the Uros people to create their sustainable reed islands, and learn about their way of life.

Arrival to Lima. Orientation and welcome dinner.

Walking tour of Lima shitorical center. Miraflores scenic walk.
Day 3
Free day in Cusco to acclimatize.
Day 4
Walking tour of Cusco. Visit of the nearby ruins.
Day 5
Visit to Tipon Archaeological Park. Visit to Pisac archaeological complex
Day 6
Visit to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu.
Day 7
Visit to Ollantaytambo Archaeological Complex. Visit to Maras Salt Mines and Moray.
Day 8
Travel to Puno in a scenic touristic bus with 5 stops to visit different sites.
Day 9
Visit to the Floating Islands in the Titicaca Lake.

Free time in Lima. Farewell dinner
