This 9-day Mexico City and Puebla program offers students an immersive cultural and culinary experience. Highlights include visits to historical sites like Basilica Virgen de Guadalupe and Casa Azul, culinary explorations at local markets and tortilla factories, and meetings with hospitality industry leaders. Students will delve into Mexican history, art, and gastronomy, fostering a deep understanding of hospitality practices in professional and casual settings.

Itinerary 

Day 1

Arrival to Mexico City. Welcome dinner.

Day 2

Program orientation. Culinary walking tour of the city.

Day 3

Market visit. Tortilla factory visit. Hospitality management meeting.

Day 4

Visit to Basilica Virgen de Guadalupe. Guided tour of Casa Azul. Exploration of Coyoacan neighborhood and local gastronomy.

Day 5

Visit to Museo Nacional de Antropología. Exploration of Chapultepec Park.

Day 6

Hike at Parque Nacional Iztaccihuatl.

Day 7

Visit to Puebla polytechnic university. Hospitality Management Meeting. Business visit and meal at El Mural de los Poblanos restaurant.

Day 8

Visit to Teotihuacan archeological site. Special farewell dinner.
