Sample Virtual Study Abroad Program: Migration in Oaxaca, Mexico
This virtual program provides students with immersive learning of the migration patterns binding the U.S. and Mexico. Students examine the Oaxacan perspective on migration in open dialogue with community leaders and migrant workers. Students also experience Oaxaca culture through virtual guided tours and an online cooking class. A joint research project with Oaxacan students gives program participants the opportunity to collaborate across cultures as they seek insight and solutions to the challenges of migration.
Virtual Program Components
