Sample Virtual Study Abroad Program: Business Policy & Strategy in Latin America
Over approximately 12 virtual contact hours, Learn from Travel will facilitate engaging conversations on topics that include entrepreneurship, multinational corporate strategy, and microfinance, all in the context of Latin American society and politics. Students will also learn about unique cultural elements of 4 Latin American countries to contrast these with the United States.

Module 1 - Entrepreneurship in Brazil
Virtual, locally-guided tour of Brazil using 360° photos/video, including a discussion of history, culture, and politics relevant to entrepreneurship and business strategy
Conversation with the director of Impact Hub, a social enterprise incubator
Module 2 - Microfinance in Nicaragua
Virtual, locally-guided tour of Nicaragua using 360° photos/video including a discussion of history, culture, and politics relevant to microfinance
Conversation with a member of a community bank and a virtual visit to a rural community
Module 3 - Multinational Corporate Strategy in Panama
Virtual, locally-guided tour of Panama using 360° photos/video including a discussion of history, culture, and politics relevant to multinational corporations
Conversation with the former vice minister of finance on public policy and corporate strategy in Panama
Module 4 - Challenges of Sustainable Business in Chile
Virtual, locally-guided tour of Chile using 360° photos/video including discussion of history, culture, and politics relevant to sustainability
Conversation with an indigenous activist leader on Chilean timber production
Conversation with sustainability project coordinator for a Chilean timber company

Learn from Travel will arrange and facilitate all of the activities listed above. We will provide live translation when necessary. The activities described above can be modified to meet specific learning objectives and preferences.
